Editorial Focus
Territory is a literary project about territories and the maps that will always fail to capture them. We want to understand the paradoxes created by these maps by understanding what inspires them. We invite writers, musicians, and other artists to respond to maps and the fallacies they engender, in turn creating secondary maps. We then present these two maps side-by-side as a means of getting at, but still failing to capture, the underlying territory.
Tips From the Editor
Please pair your submission with a map, either one we provide on our website or one you would like to use. If you provide the map, make sure it's a high-res image and available for fair use. In the case that your submission is not paired with a map but is sufficiently "map-like" in some way, we look for your suggestions of what maps to use and why to use them.
