Editorial Focus
Expanded Field is an English-language journal for creative writing and image/text experimentation. The journal publishes original works of prose, poetry, visual art, and other experimental works not easily classified within genre boundaries.
Under the direction of the student-led editorial board, located at the Department of Language, Literature, and Communication at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the journal offers an online and open-access platform for the exhibition of works from new to established, and national to international writers and artists.
