Writers in Conversation invites two writers at different stages of their writing careers, to share their work and engage in conversation with each other and entire audience. There is no charge for this event and donations are welcome. The result is a lively discussion of all things literary. The evening is sure to both please and educate, not to mention inspire! This month, our guests are poets/authors Greg Kosmicki and Mike Stinson.

Greg Kosmicki has published eight chapbooks and seven full-length collections of poetry. His most recent collection, "The dog has no answers," was published in September, 2023. The 2016 collection, "It's As Good Here as it Gets Anywhere," was a finalist for the 2017 High Plains Book Award.

Mike Stinson writes an ongoing poetry feature for a small town newspaper, along with a personal interest column called, "Walking the Dog." Since retirement from his profession as a psychotherapist, Mike has cultivated a deep appreciation for haiku and other short forms of poetry, and has published a chapbook of baseball haiku titled extra innings and will have a collection of his work, Much Needed Rain, released by Wayne State Press this spring.
