Writers in Conversation invites two writers at different stages of their writing careers, to share their work and engage in conversation with each other and entire audience. There is no charge for this event and donations are welcome. The result is a lively discussion of all things literary. The evening is sure to both please and educate, not to mention inspire! This month, our guests are poets Shyla Ann Shehan and Julie McCabe-Johanning

Shyla Ann Shehan is an analytical Virgo from the Midwest. She holds an MFA from the University of Nebraska where she received an Academy of American Poets Prize. Shyla serves as lead editor and curator of The Good Life Review and lives in Omaha with her husband, children, and three cats.

Julie McCabe-Johanning holds a B.A. in English, B.S.E. in Education from the University of Kansas, and an MFA in Creative Writing from University of Nebraska in Omaha.
