Remembering Pierre Joris -- a special open mic for writers & other members of the community to gather to read Pierre's poems, his translations, our own poems, to tell tales. Pierre taught poetry & poetics at the University at Albany 1992 to 2012, & he & his wife, the painter, singer & performance artist Nicole Peyrafitte were vibrant, active members of the Albany arts scene. He would have been 79 on July 14.
