A native of Odesa, Ukraine, Natalya Sukhonos is multilingual, speaking seven languages. She holds a PhD from Harvard University. Natalya was a finalist for the June 2025 reading period of the Black Lawrence Immigrant Writing Series. Sunlight Trapped in Stone (Green Writers Press, 2026) is her third book.
