Beyond Baroque presents a special installment of The NEW Series featuring three acclaimed Southern California poets: Chris Santiago, Steven Reigns, and féi iká shumarí. Each will debut brand new work written exclusively for this event, alongside readings from their latest or forthcoming collections. This year, Beyond Baroque is among twenty three literary organizations in the Poetry Coalition presenting programs inspired by the theme “Poetry & Shelter.” The NEW Series is dedicated to premiering wholly original work from three writers on a shared theme.
