Brownstone Poets on Zoom: Richard Loranger, E. Lynn Alexander, Han Raschka, Sat, May 30 at 2 pm ET

You are invited to join us for our May event on Zoom on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 2 pm ET with Richard Loranger, E. Lynn Alexander, and Han Raschka.

Plus a limited open mic. Your $5 contribution keeps our annual anthology in print. Hosted by Patricia Carragon, our Brooklyn girl and Editor-in-Chief.

Please follow the directions below, completing both steps at least two days before the reading to avoid delays entering the meeting room. Note the order of the open mic follows the order of signup. Sign up early to read early in the program. Last-minute signup means you will read at the end of the program. The cutoff for Zoom access for an open mic slot is noon the day of reading. After noon, late registrants are not guaranteed Zoom access to join the open but will receive a link to watch the reading live-streamed on YouTube.

Richard Loranger

Richard Loranger is a multi-genre writer, performer, text artist, and all-around squeaky wheel, currently residing in Oakland, CA. They’re the author of six books of poetry and flash prose, including Mammal, Unit of Agency (now in its second edition), Be A Bough Tit, Sudden Windows, Poems for Teeth,The Orange Book, and ten chapbooks, and have work in over 100 magazines and journals. They’ve recently joined a multi-disciplinary performance troupe, the Wandering Ensemble, based in the East Bay of San Francisco, and have been singing and dancing away. E. Lynn Alexander

E. Lynn Alexander writes, creates, repurposes, and assembles art and books in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania. She has also hosted and curated poetry events in the area and far beyond for many years and hosts virtual readings and workshops that expand access and opportunities for more writers to find community and support. A zine and book enthusiast and collector, she takes on projects that explore societal issues and concerns with the belief that we benefit from shared perspectives. Lynn is interested in exploring the ways that art can inform and provoke discussion about the challenges of our times.  She is cofounder of Collapse Press, an independent publisher, and author of “Find Me in the Iris” (2023).

Han Raschka

Han Raschka is a queer Midwest poet. Their first collection, Splinters (Collapse Press) was released in 2022, and their chapbook Enamel (Bottlecap Press) was published in 2023. They were the 2024 second-place winner for the Wisconsin People and Ideas Contest. Han was a finalist for the Charles M. Hart Jr. Award and the Therese Muller Memorial Nonfiction Award at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they study creative writing. Read more of their work at www.hanraschka.com
