Get your pen moving! At Queer + Allies Writing Circles, we are free to let loose and be ourselves. Come join a community of writers for a chill time together. For 6 weeks, we meet twice a week on Zoom. Each session, I will provide 3 writing prompts, followed by 3 timed periods of free writing. The idea is to be messy and raw. Just get it out on the page. You can edit later if you choose. This is a great way to generate new material and inspiration. After each free write, there will be the option to read aloud what you have written to the circle. Participants listen quietly and do not comment. At the end of the share, we wave jazz hands, snap our fingers, or otherwise acknowledge that the piece was heard. No crosstalk in shares. So leave your inner critic at the door and join us! Sign up for all the sessions or just one: it's up to you. See you in the circle!
