To celebrate the launch of the 2024 edition of QUEENSBOUND (www.queensbound.com), an online poetry project by, for, and about Queens, 2024 contributors will give a reading on the Queens-bound 7 train, followed by a reception at Flushing Town Hall.
At 4:45 pm, poets and listeners will meet at the front of the platform at the Vernon-Jackson stop and step on the first car of the first 7 local to leave the station at or after 5 pm.
En route to Flushing, we will hear from 2024 contributors as well as a few past QUEENSBOUND contributors and read our way to Flushing-Main Street. Attendees will share the car number with the hashtag #QUEENSBOUND24 on social media for those who wish to join us along the way.
When we step off the train, we will head to Flushing Town Hall (137-35 Northern Blvd, Flushing, NY 11354) for a reception from 6-7 pm.
