The Shore Poets of Long Beach, New York, will participate in the "Making Waves" poetry festival at the Long Beach Public Library on April 11th, 2026. Their involvement includes an all-day engagement table to meet and greet patrons and poets, as well as a community-themed poetry presentation at 3 pm with Shore Poets: Peter V. Dugan, NCPL Emeritus, Theresa Rosario-Berzner, Pearl Ketover Prilik, Sharon Denson, Rita Monte, Gregory Cioffi, Colin Robinson, Garren Small, Judy Rosemarin, Nina Malkin, and Doreen Spungin. The presentation and engagement table are sponsored solely by the Acoustic Poets Network© LLC. Additionally, the library is hosting an Ekphrastic Free Verse Poetry Workshop at 12 noon, facilitated by Paula Curci, Shore Poet co-founder and NCPLS Emerita, as well as other presentations.
