Open Secrets Magazine will host its second annual personal storytelling summit Open Secrets Live. Keynote speakers are comedian youngmi mayer (follow her on Substack!), author of memoir I’m Laughing Because I’m Crying, plus Somebody Somewhere costars, Emmy-award winner Jeff Hiller, author of memoir Actress of a Certain Age, and drag king Murray Hill, author of forthcoming memoir Showbiz! My Life as a Middle-Aged Man. 30+ memoir authors will be on panels discussing writing about family, relationships, identity, LGBTQIA+ life, mental health, and physical health, along with an editors panel with editors from book publishers Abrams, Catapult, One Signal, Tiny Reparations Books, and editors from The New York Times' Modern Love and Tiny Love Stories sections and Slate.
