On Being a Jewish Parent Now

Tuesday, May 20, 5:30 PM | 14Y Theater

Tickets: $18 - includes a copy of On Being Jewish Now and childcare *

What does it mean to raise Jewish children in this moment? How do we answer their hardest questions—about identity, safety, tradition, and hope? Join Zibby Owens, Judy Batalion, Rabbi Diana Fersko, and David Christopher Kaufman for a candid and heartfelt conversation exploring the complexities, challenges, and unexpected joys of Jewish parenting today. From “What gives you hope?” to “How do I talk to my kids about fear?” this evening offers guidance, perspective, and a reminder that as parents, we’re in this together.

Wine and light refreshments will be available throughout the program.

Presented by Y Parent, a new 14Y initiative supporting families with young children through joyful, meaningful Jewish experiences.

*Childcare will be provided on-site by two of our wonderful preschool teachers, Shanise and Elliot. Children will enjoy a fun, engaging program featuring movement activities, crafts, playtime in the playroom, and pizza!
