The Nebraska Writers Collective presents Poetry Slams in Lincoln each month.
Larksong Writers Place hosts the Poetry Slam where performance art brings new excitement to poetry. These energetic readings begin with a social hour at 6:30pm. The competition runs from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Slam performers compete for CASH PRIZES. Open-mic readers are welcome to read their own poetry or the work of others. Bring your stories and energy each month—we can’t wait to see you there! This is a free event and donations are welcome.
