The Nebraska Writers Collective proudly presents the Lincoln Poetry Slam! on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Larksong Writers Place, 1600 N Cotner Blvd., Lincoln, NE. All events are also live-streamed for poets and fans across the state. The Nebraska Writers Collective fosters personal empowerment and community-building in the Midwest through creative writing and performance poetry. CASH PRIZWS will be available to the winners in each city.
Bring your stories and energy - we can’t wait to see you there! Doors open at 6:30pm CT. The Poetry sizzles from 7:00 - 9:00pm with an open mic and then the competitive individual slam! Sign up at the event. (If you plan to compete in the slam, bring three poems.) There is a $10 suggested donation.
