Illinois Poet Laureate Mark Turcotte Reading & Open-Mic

Highland Park Poetry, East on Central & the Illinois State Poetry Societry are pleased to welcome Mark Turcotte, the recently appointed 6th Illinois Poet Laureate. Following Mr. Turcotte's reading, there will be a brief chat facilitated by Laura Joyce-Hubbard, Poet Laureate of Highland Park. A short poetry open-mic will wrap up the event. While the tickets for this program are free, advance registration on Eventbrite is required. Poets desiring to read in the open-mic must also sign up in advance by emailing Jennifer Dotson with Highland Park Poetry. Spots are limited.
