Beyond Baroque and What Books Press invite you to celebrate the posthumous release of It Wasn’t Always Like This by the late Jan Wesley (1950–2025). A radiant poet, Jan left behind a body of work that captures both the fragility and resilience of living. This gathering will feature readings by Gail Wronsky, David St. John, Jim Natal, Mariano Zaro, Sarah Maclay, Jeanette Clough, Marjorie Becker, Holaday Mason, and Paul Lieber, followed by a reception in the Poets’ Garden. Join us to honor Jan’s life, her poetry, and her enduring presence in the literary community.
