Are you looking to “level up” on your writing? If so, a Larksong Bootcamp workshop is for you. This is a limited-enrollment workshop open to a maximum of 6 writers who are committed to improving their own prose writing and are willing to read and respond to the work of the other writers in the workshop.
The class meets four times, beginning 10/8/23 through 11/16/23 (there is no class meeting on 10/23/23) For the introductory class, please bring four copies of 10-15 pages of prose to share. The next three meetings will focus on two writers’ work (one hour per writer). Each week class members are required to read and write comments on the work of the scheduled writer and be prepared to discuss it.
Lucy Adkins is a writer of poetry, fiction, and non-fiction. She has published three poetry collections including Two-Toned Dress, winner of a Blue Light Press Poetry Prize and the 2021 Nebraska Book Award for Poetry. Her fiction has been published in South Dakota Review and the Voices from the Plains anthology. Lucy co-authored two nonfiction books: Writing in Community and The Fire Inside: A Companion for the Creative Life.
