A book launch celebrating the release of John Biscello's new novel, The Last Furies. The evening will include live readings from the novel, a book-signing (a limited number of copies will be available for purchase), and an author Q & A. There will also be a performance by special musical guest, Art of Flying.
Novelist, poet, playwright, performer, director and screenwriter, John Biscello, is the author of four novels, Broken Land, a Brooklyn Tale, Raking the Dust, Nocturne Variations, and No Man's Brooklyn; a collection of stories, Freeze Tag, two poetry collections, Arclight and Moonglow on Mercy Street; and a fable, The Jackdaw and the Doll, illustrated by Izumi Yokoyama. His produced plays include: Lobsters on Ice, Adagio for Strays, Zeitgeist, U.S.A., The Best Medicine, and Werewolves Don't Waltz. The Bride, a chamber film that he wrote and directed, debuted at the TCA in May of 2024, and was an Official Selection of the Berlin Indie Film Festival and the Tokyo Lift-Off Film Festival.
