AR Academics Positions Available!
We are a boutique college counseling and test prep center operating out of two centers in Orange County, California (Newport Beach and San Juan Capistrano) looking to expand our college counseling department (and test prep/academic tutoring services—inquire for more on these if interested). Most of our clients are pushing T20 schools (Harvard, Stanford, Yale, UPenn, Cal, etc.), and we pride ourselves on being the best of the best. Admission is never guaranteed, but we can give them the best shot possible.
Positions Available: College Counselor, Writer. Part time, in-person, remote, and hybrid roles are all available. Some are full time as well, but the work is seasonal--ie tons of hours in the Summer/Fall, less in Winter/Spring. Effectively, we’ll take all the hours we can get, but you'll set your availability. Right now we're gearing up for the summer season and looking to onboard skilled writers and interested counselors.
Location: Must be located in the US. If you are interested in counseling, the closer to our centers in Orange County, CA, the better. More students prefer in-person, although there are a few all virtual students. For just writing, anywhere in US is fine.
Pay: $27-$40 hourly, based on the following factors: 1. Quality/Speed of Writing (Judged based off writing sample and any portfolio submitted) 2. Experience working with kids in educational settings or writing in general 3. Location and Availability.
