  • Growth opportunities: opportunity to assist with and develop broader marketing efforts: reader surveys; external PR/marketing outreach; develop strategy for Orion’s Substack account; develop audio + video

Skills and Desired Qualifications:

  • Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
  • Experience with Mailchimp / building email campaigns / tracking analytics

  • Interest in nonprofits, fundraising, nature, climate, culture, and literary storytelling

Details: $24 an hour, 20 hours a week – possibly more during peak holiday season. This is a part-time position but, for the right candidate, there is a potential path toward full time.

What we’re looking for: A team player and self-starter, someone who can hit the ground running, someone with experience working for magazines and/or nonprofits. We welcome candidates with an interest in Orion’s mission to nurture a community of caring for the planet.
