Valentine Freeman

Valentine "Tino" Freeman is a poet and archivist with work published or forthcoming in Ploughshares, Believer, Rain Taxi, Portland Review and elsewhere, and in anthologies by Semiotext(e) x Dopamine and fourteen poems. Her chapbook, Happy Ideas, was published by Ghost City Press, and her short book, What's Truly Is Feral, was included in Marvin Bell's New Poets Series with Lost Horse Press. Valentine's work has receievd support from Ucross, Lambda Literary, Community of Writers, The Center for Cultural Innovation, and others, and she will begin the Iowa Writers' Workshop for poetry in Fall 2027.
