Author's Bio

My work has been read on NPR by Garrison Keillor and featured in Ted Kooser's "American Life in Poetry" column. I have read at the Library of Congress, the Carnegie Institute, the Hirshhorn Museum, the National Arts Club in NYC, and the Aran Island Poetry Festival in Ireland. I was resident poet at The Frost Place in 1998 and have taught at Middlebury, Wesleyan, Binghamton University, Central CT State University, and the University of Delaware as well as at The Writer's Center in Washington DC.
