Author's Bio

Shahryar Eskandari Zanjani is a Pushcart-nominated writer, teacher, and editor. His poetry has appeared in Southern Humanities Review, Willow Review, and We Were Seeds Anthology (Querencia Press), among others, and has won The Diamond Quill (2026) and Liner Notes (Purely Liminal Magazine, 2025). Shahryar’s debut book, English Phonetics and Phonology for Farsiphones, was published by Booka. He has edited several books at ATU Press and is the translator of Zahhak's Inferno (Markosia) and Juliet and the King (Hoorakhsh Studios). Shahryar lives in Tehran, Iran.
