Author's Bio

Sam Rose is a poet, writer and editor born in Northamptonshire, England in 1987. She is the editor of Peeking Cat Literary and a PhD candidate researching the connection between creative writing and cancer survivorship. She released her first poetry chapbook, Empowerthy, in 2015, which deals with themes of empowerment, empathy and cancer survivorship. Her writing often touches on personal and open accounts of her experience as a three-time cancer survivor living with Lynch Syndrome. Sam's poems have been published in over 50 literary magazines and anthologies. Her cancer and Lynch syndrome memoir Gut Feelings was released in 2021.
