Author's Bio

Sam Pereira received his BA from California State University, Fresno and his MFA from the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop.  Along with close to 50 years of poetry to his credit, he also taught English for more than two decades and has recently retired. He lives in California's Central San Joaquin Valley, along with his wife, Susan. Also along for the ride is Marley, a Maltepoo genius street dog, who has mastered the manipulation of the human heart.
