Author's Bio

Robert Rorke published his first novel, Car Trouble, in September 2018, with Harper Collins. He has read from his work at the American Library in Paris (see author photo above), Powerhouse Books in Brooklyn, NY., Book Soup in West Hollywood, CA., the Bowery Poetry Club in New York, NY., the Why There Are Words festival in Sausalito, CA., Magers and Quinn in Minneapolis, MN., Watchung Booksellers in Montclair, NJ., and other venues. He received his MFA from the Warren Wilson School for Writers, his M.A. from Stanford University and his B.A. from New York University. He has attended summer residencies at the Squaw Valley Writers Conference and the Aspen Writers Conference. 

He is a TV columnist at the New York Post and writes regularly about television culture and personalities. He has also worked at TV Guide, Seventeen magazine, Publishers Weekly and written for these publications as well as the Los Angeles Times. He has done dozens of radio appearances around the country and a little telly.
