Nicole Morris

Nicole Morris is a Black working-class poet and essayist. Her writing has appeared in North American and Irish journals, including The Stinging Fly, Banshee, Roxane Gay’s The Audacity, Poetry Ireland Review, and elsewhere. She’s a recipient of the 2025 Irish Arts Council Literary Bursary and is an alum of the Tin House Autumn 2024 Workshop. Nicole has attended residencies at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre (Ireland), Arteles Creative Center (Finland), and, in 2027, Yaddo (USA) and Cill Rialaig (Ireland). Originally from Los Angeles, she lives in Western Ireland, where she is developing an essay collection and a memoir in verse.
