Author's Bio

Michael King earned a BA in English and posssess an MS in Academic Advising as well as Graduate Certificates in College Counseling and Environmental Sustainability.  For 15 years he has taught English in China and the US.  More than 50 of his short literary works--mostly poetry with some nonfiction and mixed-genre--have been published.  His primary literary influences have been Classics, 16th and 17th Century British Lyric and Narrative Poetry,  and 19th and 20th Century American Nature Writers. Michael's writings often display how his life experiences have evolved his appreciation and concern for cultures and the environment.  A native of Northern New England, he currently lives and teaches on the prairie.
