Author's Bio

Mary W. Jensen is a poet and fantasy author whose work explores the wonder, magic, and emotion woven through stories. As the middle of nine children, she grew up in a noisy household and found solace in books and poetry. From that chaos, creation was born.

Her poetry has been published in Abyss & Apex, Snapdragon, and the anthology Lifelines, which she coauthored. Her debut collection, Chiaroscuro, delves into the interplay of light and dark. Doorways to Enchantment blends fantasy themes with lyrical verse.

Mary is also the author of Tales of Tessagonia, a series of fairy tale–inspired novellas filled with muses, magic, and myth. She enjoys building new worlds, crafting creatures and curses, and breathing life into timeless tales.

Mary lives in Utah with her husband and son. You can find her online at BriarbookLane.com.
