Author's Bio

Mark C Watney is an English professor at Sterling College in Kansas. He was born and raised in South Africa and immigrated to America in 1977. He has also lived in Japan and Turkey and taught high school in downtown Los Angeles for 8 years before completing a PhD in Humanities at the University of Texas at Dallas. He is married with three sons.
