Author's Bio

Lisa DeSiro is the author of Labor (Nixes Mate, 2018) and Grief Dreams (White Knuckle Press, 2017). Her work is featured in Writers Resist: The Anthology (Running Wild Press, 2018), Nasty Women Poets: An Unapologetic Anthology of Subversive Verse (Lost Horse Press, 2017), and Thirty Days: The Best of the Tupelo Press 30/30 Project’s First Year (Tupelo Press, 2015), as well as in many journals. Her poems have been set to music by several composers, and can be heard on the albums Currents and Living in Light. Along with her MFA in Creative Writing from Lesley University, she has degrees from Binghamton University, Longy School of Music, and The Boston Conservatory. She is the Production & Editorial Assistant for C.P.E. Bach: The Complete Works, and an assistant editor for Indolent Books. She’s also an accomplished pianist.
