Author's Bio

Jeff Hill is a writer who helps others tell their stories.  Currently pursuing a PhD in Human Sciences and a graduate certificate in personal leadership at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Jeff holds a BS in education, graduate certificates in the teaching of writing and digital humanities, and a MA in English, all from UNL.  He became a college lecturer after teaching high school for a decade and currently serves as a chapter advisor for Phi Delta Theta fraternity.  He has over 100 publications for various literary magazines, available in print and online.  Jeff is also a faculty member of the Writer’s Hotel writing conference in New York City and a freelance writing tutor and manuscript editor.  His novel, Dead Socials, and short story collection, Dark Tendencies and Dirty Secrets were released by Poe Boy Publishing in 2024 and 2025 respectively.  Jeff is currently working on his next novel, Dead Week, set for a December 2026 release, also from Poe Boy Publishing.  Find him on Instagram, Twitter/X, and Patreon as jeffhillwriter.
