Gerard Sarnat is the author of four collections: HOMELESS CHRONICLES from Abraham to Burning Man (2010), Disputes (2012), 17s (2014) & Melting The Ice King (2016). Work from Ice King was accepted by over 70 magazines, including Gargoyle & Lowestoft Chronicle & The American Journal of Poetry, & featured in Songs of Eretz Poetry Review, Avocet, LEVELER, tNY, StepAway, Bywords & Floor Plan. Harvard & Stanford educated, Gerry’s spent time in jails as a physician & social justice protestor, built & staffed clinics for the marginalized, been a CEO of healthcare organizations & Stanford Medical School professor. Sarnat's been a member of the US’s longest-running Jewish-Palestinian dialogue group & served on the New Israel Fund international board. Married since 1969, he & his wife have three children & four grandkids.
