Author's Bio

Poet, essayist, and fiction writer Frances J. Pearce lives in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Her work has appeared in Archive: South Carolina Poetry Since 2005, North Carolina Literary Review, The Fourth River, and Best Short Stories from The Saturday Evening Post Great American Fiction Contest 2025. Her poetry and nonfiction have won 2nd and 3rd prizes, respectively, in the regional Porter Fleming Literary Competition. She is a past president of the Poetry Society of South Carolina.
