Author's Bio

Enriqueta Carrington grew up in Mexico City, in an international and polyglot family. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and her PhD in Mathematics from Rutgers University in New Jersey.

She is the recipient of a Translation Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. For many years she has taught at every level from high school to graduate school.  Her poems in English and Spanish, as well as her poetry translations from the Spanish and Sicilian, have appeared in The Road Not Taken, Umbrella, Rattapallax, Blue Unicorn, 14 by 14, The New Formalist, The Society of Classical Poets Journal, Descant (Canada) and several other journals, e-zines, and anthologies. She is the Senior Poetry Editor of the journal US1 Worksheets.
