Elan Barnehama story collection, Broken Hallelujah, is forthcoming in 2026, Poets Wear Prada. Elan Barnehama story collection, Broken Hallelujah, is forthcoming in 2026, Poets Wear Prada. He is the author of the novels Escape Route and Finding Bluefield (American Book Finalist, 2014). Seventy-five of his stories have appeared in Paris Lit Up, Jewish Fiction, Huffington Post, and elsewhere. He teaches literature and writing at MCPHS. At different times, Elan was the flash fiction editor at Forth Magazine LA, a radio news guy, and a mediocre short-order cook. Elan is a New Yorker by default and a Mets fan by geography.
