Author's Bio

Hello! I'm Darlene P. Campos. I was born in Houston, TX in October 1991 to an Ecuadorian family. I'm a graduate from the University of Houston with a BA in English-Creative Writing and a minor in Medicine. In May 2016, I earned my MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Texas at El Paso's Creative Writing Program. I currently work for Lone Star College System. I am the author of BEHIND MOUNT RUSHMORE and SUMMER CAMP IS CANCELLED, published by Vital Narrative Press. My forthcoming third novel with Vital Narrative Press is HEAVEN ISN'T ME, to be released in 2019.
