Author's Bio

Coty Poynter is Baltimore-based writer and editor. He was the lead fiction editor for the 2016–2017 edition of Grub Street, Towson University’s literary and arts magazine, and is an managing editor at Charles Street Research.

He focuses his creative endeavors to the exploration of memory, time, absence, love and pain, and the resilience of the human spirit through poetry, short fiction, and experimental nonfiction.

He's the author of two collections of poetry. His most recent book, Delirium: Collected Poems, was published by Bowen Press in 2018. Over the years. his work has appeared in Black Fox Literary MagazineEquinox, and Grub Street, among other places.

When he isn't writing, he enjoys photography, whiskey, craft beer, gardening, and trips to the coast to be sit near the ocean.

He currently lives in Baltimore, Maryland with his plants.
