Author's Bio

Constance Adler’s first novel is Sight Unseen from ELJ Editions. Her memoir is My Bayou, New Orleans Through the Eyes of a Lover (Michigan State University Press); her stories have appeared in Oxford American, Utne Reader, Garden & Gun Magazine, River Teeth Journal, Blackbird, and Peauxdunque Review, among others. Her work has received a First Place Award in Creative Nonfiction from Words & Music Literary Conference. A graduate of Smith College, she holds an MA in Creative Writing from Hollins University. Adler lives near Bayou Saint John in New Orleans.
