Chantay "Legacy" Leonard, 33, is a Detroit writer, author, performance poet and activist. Her literary work has been featured in Stanford University's "Black Arts Quarterly", the anthologies "Estrology" and "The Bandana Republic." Her debut book of poems "I Have Come Forth By Day: A Woman's Evolution" is available on Moore Black Press.
