Author's Bio

Chad is author of three collections of poetry, and co-editor of two anthologies. He has served in various editorial capacities for The Chattahoochee Review, Five Points, The GSU Review (now New South), and The Pedestal Magazine. A graduate of Baylor's George Truett Seminary, Chad has advocated for young children and youth in his communities in a number of educational and speaking capacities for over 15 years. He is a graduate of Georgia State University's Ph.D. program in Creative Writing, and during his time in Atlanta founded the Terminus Magazine literary arts organization. Chad has taught creative writing, composition and literature at Georgia State University, Georgia Perimeter College, Lee University, and currently Dalton State College. He currently leads writing workshops with the UT-C Meacham Writers' Workshop, hosts readings for regional authors at Rock Point Books, and leads free workshops on creativity, writing and publishing in the Chattanooga and Atlanta areas.
