Author's Bio

Bernadette McBride, author of four full-length poetry collections —most recently, Everything Counts (Aldrich Press/Kelsay Books, 2019), is poetry editor for the Schuylkill Valley Journal. A Pennsylvania Poet Laureate for Bucks County (2009), three-time Pushcart Prize nominee, and winner, second-place of the International Ray Bradbury Writing Award, she is a personal writing editor for both poetry and prose as well as a leader of Creative Writing workshops in the Philadelphia region. Poems and reviews have appeared in numerous U.S. journals and anthologies, including Philadelphia Stories, Cider Press Review, The Ekphrastic Review, Ragged Sky Press, Mezzo CamminThe Penwood Review, and Poems for the Writing: Prompts for Poets, as well as in the UK, Canada, E-Verse Radio, and on PRI’s The Writer’s Almanac.
