Angel Favazza

Poet

Author's Bio

Angel Favazza is the #1 bestselling YA Science Fiction author of The Oculist's DaughterSaving Death, and Canine Chronicles, as well as an international bestselling poet. She writes Speculative Fiction for Young Adults and draws inspiration from modern philosophy, environmental issues, and pop culture.  Her poetry and short stories can be found in numerous literary magazines and anthologies, including the Best American Science Fiction & Fantasy

A Michigan native, Angel divides her time between writing and teaching Advanced English and Writing at a Metro-Detroit high school.

Angel is the owner of Teachingwithpoetry.com and even created and coined a new poetry form called Line Messaging. This form has been used by numerous poets as well as many university Writing professors.

"Imaginative, intelligent, and restless, Angel Favazza’s writing presents science fiction archetypes in a surprising new light against the backdrop of our modern world. She experiments with form and line, but maintains beauty and accuracy through a transformation of scientific ideologies and our notions of what's really out there." ~Tyree Campbell, Editor in Chief, Alban Lake Publishing
