Alessio Zanelli is an Italian poet who writes in English and whose work has appeared in over 150 literary journals from 15 countries including, in the USA: Artemis, California Quarterly, The Caribbean Writer, Chiron Review, The Clarion Review, Concho River Review, Hawai'i Pacific Review, Italian Americana, The Lyric, Poetica Magazine, Potomac Review, Sanskrit, Santa Clara Review, Sierra Nevada Review, The Worcester Review and World Literature Today, among many others.
His fifth original collection, titled The Secret Of Archery, was published in 2019 by Greenwich Exchange (London).

His poem Dreamskimmer was highly commended by former UK Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy at the 2007 Poetry On The Lake Competition & Festival, Orta, Italy.

His third collection Straight Astray (Troubador, UK, 2005) received an honorable mention at the 2008 London Book Festival.
