The program offers fully-funded opportunities through teaching assistantships, and partial funding through scholarships, fellowships (including the Truman Capote Fellowship) and other awards.
The program offers the student-run reading series Second Wind; an annual “Life after MFA” publishing conference; semester-long visiting writers in poetry, fiction, and nonfiction; and a superb visiting writers series.
GRE scores are no longer an application requirement.
