The 2025 Texas Book Festival will be held on November 8 and November 9 around the Texas State Capitol in downtown Austin. The festival features panels, discussions, and book signings with more than 250 authors and hosts nearly 100 exhibiting vendors from magazines, presses, and other literary organizations. Participating writers include poets Ada Limón and Cecily Parks; fiction writers Marcy Dermansky, Nathan Harris, Brandon Hobson, Miriam Toews, and Bryan Washington; fiction and nonfiction writer Amy Tan; and nonfiction writers Skip Hollandsworth, Ibram X. Kendi, and Andrew Ross Sorkin. Most of the festival’s events are free and open to the public; the cost of tickets for select events ranges from $40 to $50. Visit the website for more information.
