Author's Bio

Sean Prentiss is the author of Finding Abbey: A Search for Edward Abbey and His Hidden Grave (University of New Mexico Press, 2015) and co-editor (with Joe Wilkins) of a craft anthology on creative nonfiction. The Far Edges of the Fourth Genre (Michigan State University Press, 2014) asks creative nonfiction writers to ruminate on a question they keep returning to concerning creative nonfiction. It includes essays by Ander Monson, Kim Barnes, Brenda Miller, Mary Clearman Blew, Judith Kitchen, Dinty Moore, Jon Rovner, Erik Reece, and many other great writers. Sean's essays, poetry, and stories have appeared in a wide range of literary journals including Brevity, Nimrod, Green Mountains Review, Passages North, Flyway, Spoon River, River Styx, Sycamore Review, ISLE, and many others. Sean is assistant professor at Norwich University.
