Author's Bio

A new book of Sally Fisher's poems, Good Question, will be published in 2015 by Bright Hill Press. Her poems have appeared in Field, Poetry East, The Threepenny Review, Margie, Chelsea, Shenandoah, and many other journals and anthologies. She has published two books for children (the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Viking) and The Square Halo, a book about art for adults (Harry N. Abrams). She has been a resident at the MacDowell Colony on five occasions. Her commentaries have appeared on NPR's All things Considered. She has given many readings as well as workshops for adults and children.
