The Rutgers-New Brunswick Writers’ Conference was held from June 2 to June 3 at the Rutgers University Continuing Education Center in Somerset, New Jersey. The conference featured workshops in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, as well as craft classes, presentations, readings, and opportunities to meet with agents and editors. The faculty included poets Pablo Medina, Patricia Spears Jones, and B. J. Ward; fiction writers Chris Bohjalian, Alice Dark, Mark Dawidziak, Alex Dawson; and creative nonfiction writers David Bianculli, Sean Madigan Hoen, and Onnesha Roychoudhuri. Fiction writers Alice Hoffman and Chris Bohjalian delivered keynotes. The cost of the conference was $299 until May 1 and $325 thereafter. Visit the website for more information.
